Vision
Glenn 2 Greatness was originally established in 2022. The network vision was to cultivate an environment conducive to cross-collaboration between community builders in all arenas of influence. By working together, the hope was to steward local resources and ensure accessibility to ALL Glenn county residents who were in pursuit of professions in the healthcare and education industries. Beyond this scope of work, we also recognized the need to retain our skilled workforce by identifying the numerous opportunities and assets available to residents in Glenn County.

Mission
Our mission began with assisting learners in acquiring jobs in the healthcare and education industries by providing them with access to local education/career pathways. Glenn 2 Greatness sought to equip the next generation of educators and healthcare providers with marketable skills.

Leadership Values
To this day, Glenn 2 Greatness continues to operate from a collective impact model with an emphasis on human-centered design. Our network is currently composed of local leaders representing sectors in education, business, philanthropic, nonprofit, and civic sectors. Together, a cross-sector group of stakeholders make collective decisions toward the implementation and direction of grants. An executive steering committee brings together key people from Glenn County Community Action Department, Glenn County Public Health, Glenn Medical Center, Quest Diagnostics, Northern Valley Indian Health, Butte College, UC Davis, Willows Unified School District, the Small School District Association, Healthy Rural California, and Glenn County Office of Education.
